Graph description: The present line graphic represents the number of complaints in the OIC’s inventory at the end of each fiscal year between 2009-10 to 2013-14. It also shows the projected inventory for the fiscal years 2015-16 to 2017-18 with additional resources (green line) and without these resources (red line). The inventories fluctuated as follows:

2009-10 2010-11 2011-12 2012-13 2013-14
2,086 1,853 1,822 1,797 2,089

The projected number of complaints in inventory for the fiscal year 2014-15 was 2,459. With additional resources, the inventory is projected to go down to 542 complaints by 2017-18. However, without these additional resources, the inventory is projected to increase to 4,142 complaints by 2017-18. A text box was added to show the difference in projected inventory between the 2 options (with or without new resources), which is 3,600 complaints. A horizontal line was also drawn to represent the level of inventory that is considered acceptable, which is 500 complaints.
